Introduction to CNC
Computer Numeric Control (CNC) is the use of computers and code to control a spindle or router to perform cuts in material. This introduction will give you an idea of what is possible with CNC and how to get started.
Getting Started Programming
Designed for the absolute beginner, this series of classes will take you step-by-step through programming your first 3-axis and 4-axis parts using Vectric’s VCarve, Aspire, and Legacy’s CCAM software.
There are many types of software that can be used to control your CNC machine. This area will cover design software that will generate G-code for your CAD/CAM software. Our proprietary software CCAM is available to all Legacy Owners, while all other software is available to purchase from their respective website.
Here at Legacy we place great emphasis on the quality of our machines. Each one is built with a welded steel frame and CNC precision machined aluminum parts. Here you will find some hardware unique to Legacy Woodworking Machinery.
